EVA Industries boasts an experienced management team with extensive cumulative experience in the manufacturing, importing, wholesaling and converting of EVA, EPDM, PE, rubber blends, neoprene-related closed and open-cell foams, materials and allied products. Many of the staff are long-serving employees who have contributed over many years to the company’s intellectual property by developing new products and continuously improving standard industry-required products. This intrinsic expertise ensures that EVA can provide the highest-quality products and service to its many customers in South Africa and abroad.
EVA is a long-standing employer in the Jacobs, Durban South community, having operated from the same premises for more than 40 years, and employs people from the local Durban South area and surrounding communities.
Employees who have embraced the training and development initiatives offered by EVA Industries have grown into senior positions within the company and, in some instances, even moved on to external promotions. At present, training and development initiatives facilitated by EVA Industries include administration and accounting, human resources and production technology. Training is conducted in several areas ranging from ‘on-the-job’ direction and coaching, internal classes through to external off-site training and / or education facilities. Employees who are on training programmes are encouraged to apply their knowledge in their respective departments to improve departmental performance and contribute towards overall company effectiveness.
