Beach Thongs

Beach Thongs, also known as Beach Sandals, Flip Flops, Jandals or Plakkies (to name but a few).

EVA Industries has been creating the capability to conceptualise, design, manufacture, enhance, and assemble a completed pair of Beach Thongs since the year 2000. Once the concept and design has been approved by the client, the process starts with manufacturing the foam sheets, cutting / stamping the soles, screen printing and embossing the soles, drilling, buffing, lacing and assembling the final product. The PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) straps / vamps are injection moulded inhouse, extra detail can be added to the vamps, to create a more bespoke Beach Thong. The completed product is then quality checked, labelled, tagged, kimbled, and packaged according to the clients’ specifications and then shipped from EVA directly to the client’s Distribution Centres or direct to the client’s Store.

EVA Industries has the capacity to produce in excess of 350,000 pairs of completed Beach Thongs a month, in its SEDEX and ISO 9001 accredited manufacturing facility.

Footwear Components

Podiatry Materials:

EVA Industries manufactures a wide variety of orthotic and podiatry materials and products, a large portion of which is exported to Europe monthly and meet stringent European Union standards. These materials are used to manufacture shoe inserts to correct podiatry abnormalities which alleviates pains and foot fatigue.

Soling Materials:

EVA Industries manufacture a variety of soles, ranging from lower soles, midsoles, collars and foam runners which are inserted in a shoe for comfort. This soling material is supplied to various shoe manufacturers in South Africa ranging from slippers to sports shoes, casual and safety boots.

Injection moulded Outer Soles & Vamps:

EVA Industries manufactures outer soles and vamps (straps) of either PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) or TR (Thermoplastic Rubber) which are injection moulded using a specialised mould.

Pool Sliders

EVA Industries manufactures a variety of injection moulded Pool Sliders manufactured from either PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) or EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) which have become very popular in the last few years.
